About

A small team putting open models to work inside African businesses.

We build AI that runs on hardware you own, in the building where your data already lives — then we stay long enough to make sure people actually use it. Two offices, one way of working: small scope, senior people, evidence before invoices.

What we believe

The data shouldn't have to travel

If a model can run beside the files it reads, that's the safest version of the system — POPIA compliance by physics rather than by policy document.

A pilot beats a proposal

Before anyone buys hardware, we run your task on our machines under NDA and show you the result. If it doesn't hold up, you've lost a meeting, not a budget.

Software is the hard part

Models are commodity now. The work that changes anything is the plumbing into email, documents and operations — and the training that makes people trust it.

Small scope, senior people

Tightly scoped projects run by people who have built the thing before. No army of juniors learning on your budget.

How an engagement runs

Stop after any stage and keep what's delivered
  1. 01

    Conversation

One painful process, in plain terms. We say what the smallest setup that solves it looks like — or that it isn't an AI problem.

  2. 02

    Pilot

Your task, your data under NDA, our hardware. A measurable result you can take to whoever signs.

  3. 03

    Install & build

Hardware sized and installed, models selected and tuned, the software built around them in a few short stages.

  4. 04

    Handover

Documentation your IT team can use, training for the people who'll live with it, and a retainer only if you want one.

What we won't do

Honesty is cheaper than a failed rollout.

Most AI projects fail quietly: the hardware arrives, the pilot impresses, and nothing changes in the work. We would rather lose the deal in the first meeting than be the reason for one of those.

  • Sell hardware bigger than the workload needs
  • Charge per token, per seat, or per surprise
  • Buy proprietary licences on your behalf
  • Disappear after the install and call it delivered
  • Lock you to us — everything is documented and open

Bring us one painful process.

We'll tell you the smallest setup that solves it — or that local AI isn't the right tool for it.
